Application open to GSOSW Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors interested in being a Program Partner Assistant while at Outdoor Day on May 2, 2026 at Camp Mountaindale in North Plains, OR.
Calling all Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts! Curious about unique careers in the outdoors or STEM? Want a behind-the-scenes role at one of our biggest events? Come join us for an exclusive teens-only adventure at Outdoor Day on Saturday, May 2 at Camp Mountaindale!

Apply to be an Outdoor Day Program Partner Assistant — you’ll help run a program partner booth, meet awesome outdoor professionals , and explore future careers. Boost your resume, make connections, and spend the day doing something totally unique! Spend part of the day assisting a program partner and the second half exploring the event!

The Outdoor Day Program Partner Assistant requires an application. Applications will be available starting January 12, 2026 on the Outdoor Day Page. Application reviews will begin by February 16, 2026. Any applications received after this time will still be reviewed based on available space. The application will close when spots are full. Girl Scouts will be notified if they are accepted by Friday, March 13, 2026.

Please note: Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts do not need to participate in the Outdoor Day Program Partner Assistant to attend Outdoor Day. Outdoor Day tickets can be purchased here beginning on February 3 to attend the event as a participant only.

Important details to know about the program:
- A DIY Sandwich Bar will be provided for lunch
- The entire event is outdoors (rain or shine)
- This PPA role is a drop off event for youth only. Drop off is 9am and the PPA program ends at 1pm. Whenever you leave the event, you will need to check out with GSOSW staff member. You are welcome to stay until the end of the event at 5pm if you would like after the PPA program ends
- You will be paired with a program partner booth that best fits your desired topic
- You will need to attend a 30 minute Zoom Call ahead of the event on 4/20/26 at 6:00pm.
