• High Adventure Activity Partner Request for Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington

  • Complete this form to request a business or organization to become a High Adventure Activity Parter (HAAP) with GSOSW. Please review the following before submitting. 

    Use of a High Adventure Activity Partner is ONLY required for activities deemed as high-risk within Safety Activity Checkpoints, including the following activities:

    • Ax, Knife, and Hatchet Throwing
    • Archery (approval is NOT required if on a GSOSW property and led by GSOSW adults)
    • Bubble Soccer
    • Challenge Courses (approval is NOT required for low-ropes elements)
    • Diving
    • Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding
    • Outdoor Climbing and Rappelling
    • Indoor Climbing and Rappelling (approval is NOT required for bouldering walls)
    • Hayrides
    • Horseback Riding
    • Indoor Skydiving
    • Kayaking on Whitewater (no approval is required for flatwater kayaking)
    • Recreational Tree Climbing
    • Snorkeling
    • Spelunking
    • Surfing
    • Target Sports (excluding target paintball)
    • Tethered balloon rides
    • Tubing (water)
    • Waterskiing and Wakeboarding
    • Whitewater rafting
    • Windsurfing/Sail boarding
    • Ziplines

Please note that submitting this request DOES NOT automatically approve an activity partner for use by members; GSOSW staff will confirm approval with you once the process is complete. The approval process usually takes 4-6 weeks, but can take longer depending on the organization.
