STEM Day Program Partner Assistant Application

Calling all Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts! Curious about unique careers in STEM? Want a behind-the-scenes role at one of our biggest events? Come join us for an exclusive teens-only adventure at STEM Day on Saturday, November 7 in Salem, OR!

Apply to be an STEM Day Program Partner Assistant — you’ll help run a program partner booth, meet awesome outdoor professionals , and explore future careers. Boost your resume, make connections, and spend the day doing something totally unique! Spend part of the day assisting a program partner and the second half exploring the event!

The STEM Day Program Partner Assistant requires an application. Applications will be available starting August 6, 2026 on the STEM Day Page. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Spots are limited and the application will close when spots are full. Girl Scouts will be notified if they are accepted within 2 weeks of their application submission.

Please note: Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts do not need to participate in the STEM Day Program Partner Assistant to attend STEM Day. STEM Day tickets can be purchased beginning on August 25 to attend the event as a participant only.

Important details to know about the program:

A DIY Burrito Bar will be provided for lunch
The entire event is indoors
This PPA role is a drop off event for youth only. Drop off is 9am and the PPA program ends at 1pm. Whenever you leave the event, you will need to check out with GSOSW staff member. You are welcome to stay until the end of the event at 4pm if you would like after the PPA program ends
You will be paired with a program partner booth that best fits your desired topic
You will need to attend a 30 minute Zoom Call ahead of the event on 10/29/26 at 6:00pm.
